Painting time.
With the detail as fine as it was, using usual undercoat might have compromised it. I decided to use the Alclad lacquer base coat straight on, much finer, especially with the airbrush.
Even with just a base colour it started to look impressive, time for the chrome...
And then it all starts to come together, but that's not all.
Not the most glamorous stage of the process, but once wiped off you can see the contrast.
